Box Score TYLER, Texas - The longest winning streak in the University of Texas baseball team's history came to an end at nine games on Friday at UT Tyler. The Falcon bats were kept quiet in an 11-0 final.

The Falcon offense didn't have a batter reach base until the fourth when Mason Hamlin reached on an error. He advanced as far as second before the inning ended with the Falcons trailing 1-0. In the bottom half of the inning, the home side erupted for seven runs to go ahead 8-0.

Caleb Boswell broke up the potential no-hitter in the fifth with a two-out single. The offense started the sixth with back-to-back singles by Carson Johnson and Payton Matthews. Hamlin worked a walk to load the bases, but the rally ended on a double play.

Out of the bullpen, Armaan Drar threw 2.0 shutout innings and struck out a pair.

The Falcons and Patriots go back at it tomorrow for doubleheader action beginning at 3 p.m.
