ODESSA, Texas - Despite a pair of home runs by the University of Texas Permian Basin baseball team, the Falcons fell in the final game of a four-game series with West Texas A&M, 15-8, on Sunday at Roden Field.

Ethan Flodstrom led the offense with a pair of hits and four RBI.
Jack Haggerty and
Taylor McDaniel also had a pair of hits on the day.

The visitors jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings but the Falcon bats responded in the bottom half of the inning.
Clayton Coats got things going with a solo homer to lead off the inning. Haggerty singled home McDaniel to cut the deficit to three before
Victor Perez scored later in the inning on a passed ball. Flodstrom capped the inning with a single to plate Haggerty and make it a 5-4 game.

The Buff offense continued to pour it on with two in the third, four in the fourth, and two more in the fifth to blow the game open. Flodstrom hit a three-run home run in the seventh but it wasn't enough to get the Falcons back in the game.
