ODESSA, Texas  – Graduate Student Alexus Quaadman has been named The Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for Week 15. This is the third time that she has earned the honor.

Quaadman had a milestone week as UTPB went 2-0. She had 13 points, eight rebounds and hit two 3-pointers (the first of her career) in a 70-65 win over West Texas A&M (Feb. 8). Quaadman had seven points, 12 rebounds and blocked two shots in a 57-53 win over Lubbock Christian (Feb. 10). The Falcons had been 0-20 against the Lady Chaps before the game.

For the week, Quaadman averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and blocked two shots. She had 20 total rebounds with 15 being defensive.  Quaadman became the first player, male or female, in UTPB history to go over 900 career rebounds.  She has 916 for her career.
