Sophie Walker, a proud graduate of UTPB, majored in Human Performance with a concentration in physical education.  She plans to pursue her masters, while hopefully continuing to play soccer at any level after graduation. 

"I came to UTPB to continue my soccer career after graduating from Juco. I chose UTPB for not only the amazing athletic facilities, but also for the great human performance facilities."  

Sophie shared that one of her favorite things about attending UTPB was the sense of community she found on campus. "My favorite thing about UTPB is the people. From my teammates and coaches, to the staff and my classmates throughout the school. Everyone is so welcoming, easy to talk to, and always wanting to help. I also loved being a part of the soccer team and getting to travel with my team and to play the sport I love." 

Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Sophie encourages other prospective students to consider UTPB because of the great facilities and lifelong friends you'll make here.
