ODESSA, Texas (November 8, 2024) – Due to a snowstorm stretching from Colorado down to New Mexico, the 2024-25 season opener for The University of Texas Permian Basin men's basketball team has been changed.

UTPB's new season opener will now be against Westminster University (Utah). The Falcons and the Griffins will still square off starting at 12 p.m. Central Time / 11 a.m. Mountain Time on Saturday, November 9.

The remaining game against tournament host Adams State University has consequentially been moved from Friday, November 8, to Sunday, November 10. The time for that game will also be at 12 p.m. Central Time / 11 a.m. Mountain Time.
