UT Permian Basin Head Soccer Coach Carla Tejas has decided to step down from her role leading the women's soccer program.
"We are deeply appreciative of Carla's dedication and commitment to our student-athletes over the past three seasons," said Scott Larson, Vice President of Athletics. "We wish her all the best in her future endeavors."
During her tenure, Coach Tejas led the team to an overall record of 13-25-12, with a 7-21-9 mark in Lone Star Conference play.
UTPB Athletics will begin a national search for a new head coach immediately, with the goal of continuing to build on the progress of the program and ensuring a successful future for Falcon soccer.
