ODESSA, Texas (November 13, 2024) – The 2024-25 home opener for The University of Texas Permian Basin men's basketball team, scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, at 5:30 p.m. against Navajo Technical University, has been canceled.

UTPB was coming off a 78-58 exhibition loss at The University of Texas at El Paso on Tuesday night in which the Falcons outscored the Miners 39-32 in the second half. Navajo Tech, meanwhile, dropped a 129-23 decision at Sul Ross State University on Tuesday in a game in which the Skyhawks only had four players on the court while the game was played with a running clock.

UTPB's next game will now be its exhibition against the University of Southwest (N.M.) at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, inside the Falcon Dome.

After that will be UTPB's Lone Star Conference opener against Angelo State University at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 23.
