ODESSA, Texas  – Graduate Student Alexus Quaadman has been named The Lone Star Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for Week 13. This is the second time that she has earned the honor.

Quaadman had a strong week as UTPB went 2-0. She had nine rebounds and blocked a shot in a 68-63 win over St. Edward's (Jan. 25). Quaadman scored 12 points, pulled down 18 rebounds, had three steals and blocked four shots in a 73-36 win over St. Mary's (Jan. 27). That was her eighth double-double of the season.

For the week, Quaadman averaged nine points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 2.5 blocks. She has 27 total rebounds with 19 being defensive.
