Our second Hometown Hero of the season is Sergeant First Class Timothy Geary. Geary is a veteran of the U.S Army Special Forces. Over his fourteen-year career in the military Sergeant First Class Geary had two combat tours in Iraq as a sniper team leader. Four combat tours as an elite Special Forces Green Beret medical sergeant with 5th Special Forces Group Airborne.

Sergeant First Class Geary is the recipient of numerous military awards and decorations: that include the bronze star, Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation medal, Combat infantry badge, Army Airborne Badge, Royal Netherlands Army Parachute Wings, and the US Army Sniper designator

After leaving military service Mr. Geary returned to Midland with his wife and children where he is currently a consultant for XTO Energy.
