Falcons Battle Strong Against Patriots

DALLAS, Texas –The University of Texas Permian Basin women's soccer team (2-3-1, 0-1 Lone Star Conference) lost 2-0 to Dallas Baptist (4-0-1, 1-0 LSC), Saturday afternoon at Patriot Soccer Field.

Dallas Baptist scored at the 6:06 mark to take the early lead.  UTPB played tough and had several strong chances.  The game was sealed with a Patriot goal with 2:10 left in the game.

Freshman Valeria Delgado had five saves.

UT Permian Basin keeps to the road, Wednesday, Sept. 27 taking on Lubbock Christian.  The game is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m.
