KINGSVILLE, TX – Freshman Kelsey Valo got on base twice for UT Permian Basin in the team's final game of the series against Texas A&M Kingsville Saturday afternoon.
 
Falcon hitters were led by Valo with two hits. Keri Sanford had one hit for UTPB.
 
After a quick start from TAMKU, the Falcons slowed down the Javlinas in the middle innings. However, UTPB could not get a run in and fell to TAMKU 9-0.
 
The Falcons return for a home series against St. Mary's starting Thursday April 6 with a double header starting at 3pm. The last game of the series will be Friday at 1pm.
 
UTPB will not play again until Tuesday April 11 and 12 in Silver City, NM against Western New Mexico.
