LUBBOCK – The Falcons looked to ride the momentum of game one into the match up against Chadron St. College Friday afternoon up in Lubbock.
The games started off as a defensive battle as Chadron's two runs were matched by the Falcons off of a Melayna Lopez RBI single and an Aryell Aguiar RBI double to tie the game at 2-2.
However, Chadron found some moment in the late innings as went on the take the victory 12-2 (5).
Saturday, the Falcons will be back in action facing Minto State at 2pm and Emporia State at 4pm. UTPB will get another shot at Chadron on Sunday at 11am before starting conference play at Cameron on Friday, February 17.
