ODESSA, Texas – Grad Student Kenny Hrncir has been named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week in football for Week 9.  This is the second straight week and third overall this season that he has been recognized.

Hrncir had a strong day as UT Permian Basin moved to 8-1 on the season beating Western Oregon, 28-16, October 28. He was 23-of-37 for 379 yards and three touchdowns and added 46 yards and a score on the ground for 425 yards in total offense (2nd best in single game history).  Hrncir's passing yards were fourth best for single-game in program history.

Hrncir broke the UTPB season records for total offensive plays (384) and total offensive yards (2822).
