ODESSA, Texas – Grad Student Kenny Hrncir has been named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week in football for week 8.  This is the second time this season Hrncir has won the award.

The Falcons have had at least one LSC Player for the week for the last five weeks.

Hrncir had a strong game as UT Permian Basin beat #19 / #18 Angelo State 28-23 on Oct. 21.  It was the first win over the Rams in school history.

Hrncir was 21-of-27 for 203 yards and four touchdowns.  He added 43 yards on the ground to finish with 246 yards in total offense.

Hrncir fired two touchdown passes in the second and third quarter.  He is now thrown 20 touchdown passes on the season.  That break the records of 17 by Clayton Roberts (2021).
