MONAHANS, Texas - Everything fell into place as The University of Texas Permian Basin women's swimming & diving team (1-1) beat McMurry (0-1) 177-85, Saturday afternoon at Monahans ISD Pool.  The Falcons won 13 of the 15 events.

Double winners were freshman Hailey Garcia-Rivas in the 50 and 100-yard butterfly (28.64,1:02.60) events, sophomore Emma Gerhart in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle (2:04.57, 5:29.61) events, senior Avery Joiner in the 50 and 100-yard free (25.92, 57.03) events and freshman Chloe Siegrist in the 50-yard breaststroke (35.12) and 1000-yard free (12:02.55).

UTPB won both relays:  The 200-yard medley (2:00.12) with Garcia-Rivas, Siegrist, senior Ava Reaume and Joiner and the 200-yard free (1:46.64) with Joiner, junior Ana Cardenas, Gerhart and Reaume.

UT Permian Basin is off until Friday, Oct. 13 when they travel to swim Adams State.
