Scouting the Opponent
After a 2-0 start that vaulted them up the national rankings, West Texas A&M has dropped their last two games.   The Buffs routed Western Colorado and Adams State by a combined score of 78-25 before falling in their two Lone Star Conference contests.
Nick Gerber is under center for the Buffs and has thrown for 813 yards and five touchdowns.  The team is led on the ground by Jarrod Compton's 248 yards but Isaiah Smallwood has a team high three touchdown rushes along with Shakell Brown.
The Buffs are pretty down the middle in stats.  They are averaging 5.1 yards per play, the same amount they are allowing.  Passing yards are 231.75 yards per game while allowing 229.5.  Total offense is separated by just 30 yards.
The Falcons routed the Buffs last season at Ratliff Stadium, 42-31.  It was the team's first win in the series.  This week is Homecoming at WT.

Comeback Kids
Once again the Falcons fell behind early and had to come from behind to win.  Western Oregon scored the first 10 points of the game on Saturday before the Falcons scored 21-unanswered to take the lead and eventually the game.

Record Breaking
MJ Link keeps adding to his already impressive career with his 17th touchdown reception.  The senior is now top 5 all-time in touchdown receptions, yards, and receptions.

Bounce Back
After missing a week due to injury, Dylan Graham bounced back in a big way on Saturday.  The quarterback threw for 238 yards and a pair of scores while having another taken back due to a penalty.  Graham was 34-for-52, completing the second most passes in a game in program history.  He also showed some mobility, gaining 23 yards on the ground.
