In just their second road game of the season, UT Permian Basin Men's Soccer faced a difficult challenge at No. 18 St. Mary's.  Despite four saves on the night by senior goalkeeper Kristian Hovind, the Falcons couldn't find the back of the net in the 3-0 final.

The Falcons fell behind 2-0 early in the opening half before recording a shot on goal. They came out firing in the second half with Sergio Gonzalez having a shot saved and another go just wide.  The team continued to push the pace but the Rattlers scored once again in the 78th minute for the eventual 3-0 final.

UTPB recorded 11 shots on the night with three landing on net.  The Falcons welcome UT Tyler on Saturday in their first Lone Star Conference game of the season.  Download the UTPB Athletics App to follow the team all season long.
