Women's Golf
Arnie Taguines - Parañaque City, Philippines – Freshman - Taguines became the first player in UT Permian Basin Women's Golf history to outright win a tournament on Tuesday. The freshman had late birdies on 15 and 16 to turn a one-stroke deficit into a one-stroke lead she'd hold onto to win with a score of -4.

Men's Golf
Sebastian Bengtsson – Helsingborg, Sweden – Freshman – Bengtsson finished sixth at the MSSU Invite with a final score of -2.  The freshman used a strong opening day to put himself into contention and snag his first career top-10 finish.

Football
Hayden Kelly – Magnolia, Texas – Junior - Kelly manned the middle of a Falcon defense that bent but didn't break in their 27-24 road win over Western Oregon.  Late in the fourth quarter with the Wolves driving, Kelly intercepted a pass over the middle and returned it 55 yards to seal the win with 40 seconds on the clock.  He flew all over the field, setting a new career-high with 10 tackles while also recording 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack.  The Wolves had a difficult time throwing over the middle with Kelly also deflecting a pair of passes in the all-around effort.

Jaquez Tyler – San Antonio, Texas – Junior – Tyler blocked a field goal in the Falcons' three-point win over Western Oregon.  It was his 11th career blocked kick.

Volleyball
Taurie Magee – Altadena, California – Senior - Magee was super-efficient on offense as the Falcons went 2-0 on the weekend. Magee had 8 kills on 16 attempts in the team's straight set win over Midwestern State on Friday and followed it with 11 kills on 21 attempts in their win over Texas Woman's. She was terrific on the defensive end as well recording 8 digs and 7 blocks.
