UT Permian Basin Tennis closed their opening slate of matches in Colorado with a sweep of Colorado College. The women clinched the win 4-3 while the men had an easier time with a 6-1 victory.
The women started the day on the right foot with a sweep in doubles play.
Lisa Guitton had a terrific weekend winning six of her eight matches including on in straight sets on Saturday.
Teodora Vrucan and
Rhea Singh pulled in two-set victories to give the Falcons their second win of the season.
Jonas Krahofer had a huge weekend going 6-0 for the men including a win in singles and doubles on Saturday. The Falcons had a strong day sweeping doubles before taking five of the six singles matches to finish the weekend 2-1.
The Falcons wrap-up their fall schedule with ITA Regionals. The women will head to Dallas starting September 22 while the men head to Wichita Falls starting September 29.
