Needing to replace plenty of back court scoring, UT Permian Basin Men's Basketball will look to get it from Azariah Seay.  Seay, a Division I transfer from IUPUI, comes to UTPB for his final season of eligibility.

Seay averaged 6.4 points per game last year including a 17 point outburst against Morehead State.  He also showed out with a 16-point performance against Wright State and 15 points against Chicago State.  In 2022-21 he averaged 5.7 points per game including a 14-point performance against Cleveland State.

"AZ has a chance to be a very good guard in the Lone Star Conference," said Head Coach Kyle Tolin.  "He is really athletic and can score the ball in multiple ways.  He is a big, strong guard who we are counting on for big things this season."

A 6-4 guard, Seay began his college career at Blinn College where he scored 13.5 points per game on 48.9 percent shooting.  He scored a career high 28 points against Coastal Bend College.
