The Falcons
- Last weekend the Falcons set the program record for team home runs. Oswaldo Godina's two-run shot yesterday was the team's 50th on the year.
- The duo of Garret Thornton and Devin Ferrari enter the final weekend of their Falcon careers chasing the program home run record. Ferrari is tied for the lead with 15 while Thornton is second with 14 all-time.
- Ferrari and now Godina have nine homers on the year and look to become the fourth player with at least 10 in a single season. The current record is 12 in a season held by Will Basom and Evan Gattis.
- The Falcons need to score just seven runs this weekend to finish with their most since joining the Lone Star Conference. It would be the team's most runs scored since scoring 322 times in 2011.
- The Falcons welcome the Rams to Odessa for the first time since 2018. They look for their first victory in the series all-time.
- This is senior weekend for the Falcons. They will honor their 13 seniors prior to the game on Sunday.
Â
The Rams
- The Rams have won 10 straight and jumped back into the top 10 nationally.
- They have scored in double figures all but twice during the winning streak.
- The Rams are looking to finish the regular season perfect on the road. The team is currently 21-0 on the year.
- Justin Lee leads the Lone Star Conference with a .444 batting average and is second in RBI with 59.
- Austin Beck leads the league with 24 steals on the year.
