The Falcons

• On Friday the Falcons broke the program single season record with their 46th home run of the season.  They broke the previous record of 45 set back in 2008.
• Ferrari continues to destroy the baseball for the Falcons. The senior homered once again yesterday, his seventh in 10 games.  He currently has a .732 slugging percentage, .006 points ahead of former World Series Champion Evan Gattis for the program record. 
• Pedro Astacio is also swinging a hot bat of late.  The sophomore is hitting .326 and leads the team with 11 doubles.  Astacio has also ripped a pair of triples and driven in 27 runs in his first season in orange and black.
• The Falcons are in LCU for the first time since 2016.  The Chaps have won the last two series in the rivalry, with the Falcons last taking it back in 2015.

• The Chaps dropped to No. 25 in the nation after splitting their series last week at Cameron.
• Their pitching staff leads the LSC with eight complete games.
• Today is senior day with the Chaps honoring their seniors prior to the game.
