The Falcons

• Yesterday the Falcons blasted three home runs to set a new single season program record with 48.  The team broke the record of 45 previously set by the 2008 squad.
• Ferrari continues to destroy the baseball for the Falcons. The senior had a pair of extra base hits including a homer in yesterday's action.  The big day raised his slugging percentage to .729, just .003 points ahead of Evan Gattis for the highest in program history.
• Pedro Astacio is also swinging a hot bat of late.  The sophomore raised his season average up to .333 and leads the team with 11 doubles.  Astacio has also ripped a pair of triples and driven in 27 runs in his first season in orange and black.
• The Falcons head to LCU for the first time since 2016.  The Chaps have won the last two series in the rivalry, with the Falcons last taking it back in 2015.

• The Chaps dropped to No. 25 in the nation after splitting their series last week at Cameron.
• Their pitching staff leads the LSC with eight complete games.
• This is the final home stand for the team and will honor their seniors before Sunday's game.
