UT Permian Basin Softball wrapped up their weekend road trip with the offense led by Valerie Gonzalez and Mia Quintero.  Gonzalez had three hits on the day, giving her a team high 45 on the year, while Quintero blasted her sixth home run of the season, tying her for the team lead.

The opening game of the day at Texas A&M International saw a lot of scoring early before the pitchers settled down.  Ashlynn Bradley worked a lead off walk to start the second inning before moving to left on a single by Cheyenne Marquez.  With two outs, Sydney Bishop drove home the pair on a single for the team's first runs of the day.  While the Dustdevils only scored twice the rest of the way, it wasn't enough as they also scored three in the first for the 5-2 final.  

In the second game the Falcons struck first.  Gonzalez got things going with a single and stole second before coming around to score on an RBI single by Lani Graft.  After the Dustdevils took a 5-1 lead, the offense got going again in the fourth.  Bradley singled and Araiza reached on a ground ball to put two on.  Bishop drove in Bradley with a single and Aubree Beggs brough home Araiza on a ground ball to make it 5-3.  In the fifth, Quintero hit a line drive shot to right center with two outs to make it a one-run ball game.  That's as close as they would get as the Dustdevils added to their lead in the sixth for the 8-4 final.

Destini Trahan struck out six over six innings in the opening game of the day.  Graft and Bishop had two hits on the afternoon.
