The Falcons

• Devin Ferrari is heating up at the plate for the Falcons.  The senior has a hit in eight of his last 11 games and raised his batting average .090 points.  
• The Falcons have had a powerful offense in 2022 and are second in the Lone Star Conference with 28 home runs.
• Pedro Astacio has been on fire recording an RBI in seven of the last eight games along with a pair of home runs.  The sophomore has a hit in seven of the last nine contests.  
• The Falcons have eight players with multiple homers on the year.
• Last weekend Parker Buys won his first game as a Falcon as he shut down Cameron.  The transfer allowed just one earned run over 5.2 innings.
• This is the first series the Falcons will play at UT Tyler.  The team's first met last season with the Patriots taking the series 2-1.

 
The Patriots

• The Patriots have won six straight including a sweep last week of Cameron.  Sunday was a wild one with the Patriots winning 20-14 in a high scoring affair.
• The six-game winning streak has vaulted the Patriots into the No. 10 spot in the South Central Regional rankings.
• They are fourth in the LSC in batting average at .305 and fourth in team ERA at 5.09.
