The Rams started the second half hot, but turnovers kept the Falcons in the game. Baskets by Horn and
Max Warren followed by a Jones three put the Falcons back on top 57-55 and forced a Ram timeout. Both offenses then went cold with each side only making one basket between the 12- and 8-minute media timeouts. Back-to-back jumpers from
Lemmie Howard and a three by Jones built a six-point Falcon lead. The Rams scored six points in the final minute off a three and a turnover to send the game to overtime.
Both offenses struggled in the extra period and only exchanged free throws for the first three minutes. The Falcons appeared to take a three-point lead on a Warren put back, but it was waved off for an offensive foul. The Rams responded with a pair of free throws to take a 78-77 lead. Frey's three-pointer was tipped just enough at the buzzer to fall short.
Daniels finished with a team high 20 points while Jones and Horn had 15 each. Jones added four assists and four rebounds.
