The Falcons
  • The Falcons enter the Lone Star Conference playoffs as the No. 10 seed with an 8-8 record.  The team was one of just four to complete all 16 conference games this season.
  • Miles Daniels has been a man on a mission of late.  Last week the senior dropped a career high 31 points and followed it up with a 29-point performance against Texas A&M – Commerce on Saturday.  On Saturday, he became the second player in program history with 100 made threes in a season and is the only player in the conference with more than 90.
  • Lemmie Howard was terrific on senior day, scoring a career high 20 points, on 10-of-12 shooting, while also pulling down six rebounds.
  • This is a matchup between two of the top five scoring offenses in the LSC, the Rams rank third while the Falcons are fifth.
  • The Falcons are second in the conference in shooting percentage at .484 percent and fourth in three-point percentage at .378 percent.
  • This is the third time this season these two teams will meet, with the road team taking the first two.  The Rams took the first game in Odessa on a last second shot while the Falcons ran away with it in a 14-point win in San Angelo.
  • Jordan Horn had 25 points and 11 rebounds in the win while Daniels and Howard had 16 each.
  • This is the second all-time meeting in the LSC playoffs.  The Falcons took the first game 93-85 back in 2017 in the LSC Championship Game clinching their first conference championship their first year in the league.

The Rams
  • The Rams enter action ranked No. 7 in the South Central Regional rankings and winners of three straight.
  • They are 8-4 on the season at home with losses to the Falcons, Lubbock Christian, Dallas Baptist, and Texas A&M International.
  • Their lineup boasts four players averaging in double figures.  Tyrell Carroll leads the way at 13.4 points per game.  He combined to score 31 points in the two earlier matchups.
