The Falcons 

• The Falcons got a lift from Pedro Astacio during their doubleheader on Sunday. The sophomore went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Game 1. Oswaldo Godina and Hayden Matthewson also hit homers for the Falcons. Andre Leyva finished Game 2 with 2.1 innings pitched of no-hit ball.
• This will be the 37th time the Falcons and Dustdevils play against each other. The Falcons lead the series 20-16 and have won five of the last nine games they have played in Laredo.

The Dustdevils

• The Dustdevils controlled both games from the get-go as they scored 24 runs combined in the doubleheader. Matt Kissamis went 3-for-3 at the plate driving in and scoring two runs.
• The Dustdevils gave up nine Falcon hits and they walked six Falcons as well. They gave up three home runs as the Falcons look to capitalize on Dustdevil pitching with runners on base to tie the season series 2-2.
