The Falcons 
  • DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history.  Through 21 games the senior has 140 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times. 
  • Jones currently is third in Division II in assists with 140, ten behind Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern and two behind Fred Mulbah of Pitt. - Johnstown.  Jones is also second in the per game category at 7.4, 0.5 away from the lead held by Smith. 
  • The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. 12 of the 21 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point. 
  • On Tuesday, the Falcons took down RV Angelo State with double-double performances from Jordan Horn and Lemmie Howard. Horn scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Howard had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Miles Daniels also had 16 points.
  • The Falcons boast the fourth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +3.14.
  • Horn is fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 16.4 per game. He is also fifth in field goal percentage shooting 48.5 from the field. He is seventh in the conference from three with a 39.7 percentage. 
  • Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting 86.8 percent, fifth in the LSC.  He also currently is eighth in the league with 29 steals. 
  • Miles Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC.  He is sixth with a percentage of 40.3, and third in made threes per game, 3.0. 
  • The Falcons are 9-1 against the Mustangs all-time.   
The Mustangs
  • The Mustangs won their last game on Thursday against Angelo State 79-74, snapping a three-game losing streak.
  • They shoot 72.1 percent from the from the charity stripe and only possess a 0.9 assist / turnover ratio.    
  • The Mustangs have a -1.2 rebound margin, and they shoot 33.8 percent from three while they allow their opponents a 34.6 percentage from deep.
