Valerie Gonzalez got things going with a double and came around to score on one by
Aracely Araiza.
Julia Bumford followed with her sixth home run of the season to lead 3-0. Three batters later,
Sydney Bishop singled home
Ashlynn Bradley for the 4-0 lead.
They poured it on in the second inning. Gonzalez doubled home
Leslie Martinez. Two batters later Bumford's RBI-single made it 6-0.

In the second game the Falcons got off to a hot start as well. Araiza hit an RBI-single for the first inning lead. The bats continued in the second. Bradley scored to start the inning on a single by
Aryell Aguiar. Gonzalez singled to bring in another run. After loading the bases, Bumford ripped a three-run double for the 6-0 lead. The Patriots climbed back in it though after a pair of three-run home runs to tie things at six. In their half of the seventh, Bishop singled to start the action and came around to score on a double off the bat of Marquez and the 7-6 walk-off win.
Bumford finished with five hits and six RBI on the day giving her eight hits and 10 RBI for the series.
