Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Trailing by a run late in game two of a doubleheader at the University of the Southwest, UT Permian Basin Softball rallied late to improve their winning streak to five games. 
 
The offense got going in the fourth inning of game one.  Singles by Aracely Araiza, Julia Bumford, and Ashlynn Bradley loaded the bases.  Mia Quintero cleared the bases with a three-run triple.  She scored the very next batter on a ground ball by Cheyenne Marquez.  They added another run in the fifth and two more in the seventh to pull away.  Becky Berth allowed just two runs in a complete game victory, her fourth of the year.
 
Game two became a pitcher's duel.  Destini Trahan allowed a run in the fifth and the game stayed 1-0 into the seventh.  In the seventh the Falcons tied the score and poured it on in extra innings.  They scored seven times in the eighth inning to pull away for the 8-1 victory.
