The Falcons

• The Falcons are in a tight race in the Lone Star Conference playoffs.  They currently sit 10^th but can still finish as high as 4^th in the conference.
• Miles Daniels has taken his game to another level over the last few weeks.  Last week he averaged 27 points per game and dropped a season high 28 on Saturday.  He leads the LSC and is third in the country with 90 made threes.
• Jordan Horn sits at 798 points in his Falcon career.  He is just a bucket away from becoming the eighth player in program history to reach the 800-point mark.
• The Falcons are 3-0 all-time against the Patriots but all three games have been decided by less than 10 points.
• The team is currently in 11^th place in the LSC standings.  If the season were to end today the Falcons would head east to take on UAFS in Arkansas. 

The Patriots

• Like the Falcons, the Patriots are looking to secure their spot in the LSC playoffs.  At 7-6 they are 10^th and just 0.5 game ahead of the Falcons. 
• In yesterday's regional poll, the Patriots at 9^th in the South Central Region.  This would make them currently the first team out of the NCAA Tournament.
