The Falcons
- The Falcons are 1.5 games back of the final playoff spot in the Lone Star Conference with three to play.Â
- Rory Carter tied a career high with 18 points on Thursday as the Falcons cruised to a win over Oklahoma Christian.Â
- Avalon Munoz moved into the top five in program history for single season assists on Thursday. The freshman has 110 on the season, chasing the record of 152 set by Tammy Acosta in 2011-12. She is currently tied for the conference lead along with Francis King of Midwestern State.Â
- The Falcons have won three of their last four contests. Two of those wins have been in convincing fashion, winning by double figures on the road.Â
- Ogechi Nwodo has been a force late in the season. She now has 129 rebounds on the year and has at least six in each of her last nine games. Last time out she just missed her third double-double of the month with eight points and 14 rebounds.

- The Lions come into action Saturday clinging to the 11th seed in the LSC.
- Paige Elston and Mar'Shalia Lollie both are averaging in double figures. Lollie leads the team in rebounds while Elston also leads in assists and steals.
- They had won four straight before falling 67-55 to Angelo State on Thursday.Â
- The team is turnover prone coughing the ball up 19.9 times per game, the fourth most in the LSC.
