The FalconsÂ
- The Falcons are not only at the top of the charts in the Lone Star Conference when it comes to home runs. They are ranked third in the NCAA as well with 16 on the year. Garret Thornton and Oswaldo Godina have three home runs each while Jay DeSoto and Gabe Melendez each have a pair.
- In the series finale against Texas A&M - Kingsville Godina hit a two-run shot to right in the second inning to give the Falcons a lead. The Falcons added to the lead in the bottom of the eighth as Christian Rodriguez scored on a Gabriel Morin single up the middle. The lead would hold until the ninth where the Javelinas tied it 3-3 and eventually win it in the tenth. Â
- Clapperton is tied for third in the conference with 12 hits.
- Jay DeSoto is tied for eighth in the conference with 18 total bases. He also is tied for sixth the conference with two home runs.
- Godina and Thornton are tied for third in the conference in home runs with three.
- This will be the 33rd time the Falcons and Hilltoppers have played against each other. The Falcons have won three out of the last seven games.
The Hilltoppers
- They split their series against Cameron, falling in the final game of the series 9-5.
- Their probable starter is Wesley Gafford. He pitched six innings of two-run ball as he struck out four Aggies. He picked up the victory for his first win of the season.   Â
- The Hilltoppers have only allowed one home run this season, the fewest in the LSC.
