The Falcons
  • This season, 15 of the Falcons 24 games have been decided by 10 or fewer points.  This includes seven of their 12 Lone Star Conference contests.
  • Despite their record, the Falcons have the 11th best scoring margin in the LSC.
  • The Falcons are first in the conference in forced turnovers with 523, ahead of second place Texas A&M International by 22.
  • Avalon Munoz has been one of the best point guards in the LSC, as she is tied for first in the conference with 104 assists along with Frances King of Midwestern State.  The freshman is also tied for fourth in steals with 54.
  • Holly Hemmeline is tied for fifth in the conference in three point field goals per game making 2.0 per game.
  • The Falcons took Texas A&M - Kingsville down to the wire in the Falcon Dome. The Falcons had a chance to at least tie the Javelinas in the final seconds, but could not convert at the end. Hemmeline and Wykoff led the Falcons with 17 points each on Saturday. Ogechi Nwodo had a double-double scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds.
  • The Falcons are 5-4 in the series with the Eagles. The last time these two teams met was in the 2019-20 season, the Falcons won 80-68 in the Falcon Dome.
The Eagles
  • The Eagles host the Falcons after collecting two road wins against St. Mary's and St. Edward's Thursday and Saturday last week, breaking an 18-game losing streak to start the season.
  • They are 0-10 at home so far this year.
  • The Eagles have a scoring margin of -11.5 while they are -5.9 in the rebounding margin department.
