The Falcons 
  • DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history. The senior has 148 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times. 
  • Jones currently is tied for third in Division II in assists per game with 7.0.  He is 1.0 behind leader Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern and 0.5 behind second place Fred Mulbah of Pitt. - Johnstown. 
  • The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. 16 of the 24 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point. 
  • On Saturday, the Falcons almost won their fourth straight game as they fell to Texas A&M - Kingsville. Jordan Horn recorded a double-double scoring 26 points and recording 10 rebounds. Miles Daniels helped out the team by adding 19 points.
  • The Falcons have the sixth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +2.21.
  • Horn is fourth in the conference in scoring, averaging 17.0 per game. He is also fifth in field goal percentage, shooting 48.2 from the field. He is fifth in the conference from three shooting 41.0 percent. 
  • Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting 86.9 percent, fifth in the LSC.  
  • Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC.  He is tied for second with a percentage of 42.9, and leads the conference with 79 made threes on the season. 
  • The Falcons are 8-1 against the Eagles all-time. The Falcons have won seven straight games including the last three on the road.   
The Eagles
  • The Eagles split their games last week while on the road. They won 84-79 in St. Mary's and lost to St. Edward's 79-64.
  • They have lost three of their last four games where two were by 15 plus points.
  • The Eagles have a -5.8 scoring margin and a -3.2 turnover margin. They are also -0.2 in the rebounding margin department.     
  • They are shooting 69.9 percent from the free throw line and have a -1.5 margin in steals per game.
