The Falcons
- DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history. The senior has 144 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153. This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times.
- Jones currently is third in Division II in assists per game with 7.2. He is 0.9 behind leader Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern and 0.3 behind second place Fred Mulbah of Pitt. - Johnstown.
- The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. 15 of the 23 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
- On Thursday, the Falcons went to overtime against Texas A&M International as they won 89-86. Keyon Craddock led the way for the Falcons scoring 22 points as he was money all night long. He shot 4-for-5 from the field and 13-14 from the charity stripe. Miles Daniels scored 21 points going 8-for-15 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc. Horn was one rebound away from completing the double-double as he had 19 points and nine rebounds.
- The Falcons are tied for the fourth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +2.61.
- Horn is fourth in the conference in scoring, averaging 16.7 per game. He is also sixth in field goal percentage shooting 48.1 from the field. He is seventh in the conference from three shooting 39.6 percent.
- Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting 86.6 percent, fourth in the LSC. He also currently is tied for eighth in the league with 1.5 steals per game.
- Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC. He is fourth with a percentage of 42.3, and leads the conference with 74 made threes on the season.
- The Falcons are 8-7 against the Javelinas all-time. The Falcons won their last game against them in a 75-65 victory in Kingsville.
The Javelinas
- The Javelinas have lost four of their last five games. All but one of those losses were by single digits.
