The Falcons 
  • The Falcons return to Roden Field was cut short due to darkness as both teams put up an offensive showing in Game 1 of the series. The Falcons hit 11 extra base hits including four home runs. Clapperton leads the offense with a home run and two doubles. Cole Dickie and Garret Thornton have three hits each, including a double and a homer.
  • Clapperton is tied for seventh in the Lone Star Conference in batting average as he is hitting .500. Clapperton is first in the conference with 10 hits.
  • Marcus Johnson is tied for fifth in the conference with seven runs scored.
  • Jay DeSoto is tied for second in the conference with eight hits. He also is tied for the conference lead with two home runs and 15 total bases. He is tied for third with seven RBI.
  • Oswaldo Godina has one of the best eyes in the conference as he is tied for fifth with five walks on the season.
  • As a team the Falcons are leading the conference in home runs with 12 on the year.
  • The end of the current game will be the 20th time the Falcons and Javelinas have played against each other. The Falcons have won the last two games they have played against them.
The Javelinas
  • The Javelinas scored more runs this game than they have their opening series.
  • They now have four batters over the .300 mark where before they didn't have one player hitting above .300.
  • The Javelina bats have woken up against the Falcons. Falcon pitching looks to keep them in check for the remainder of the series.
