The Falcons
- DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history. The senior has 140 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153. This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times.
- Jones currently is second in Division II in assists per game with 7.4. He is 0.7 behind Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern.
- The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. 14 of the 22 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
- On Saturday, the Falcons defeated Western New Mexico 73-68 with a 22-point performance from Miles Daniels and a 19-point tally from Horn. Howard once again led the team on the boards picking up 10 and was three points shy of a double-double.
- The Falcons are tied for the fourth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +2.82.
- Horn is fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 16.5 per game. He is also tied for sixth in field goal percentage shooting 48.4 from the field. He is sixth in the conference from three shooting 40.3 percent.
- Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting 86.8 percent, fourth in the LSC. He also currently is tied for ninth in the league with 1.5 steals per game.
- Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC. He is fourth with a percentage of 41.3, and leads the conference with 69 made threes on the season.
- The Falcons are 8-8 against the Dustdevils all-time. The Falcons have won two of the past three games against them. The Dustdevils have not been to Odessa since the 2015-16 season.
The Dustdevils
- The Dustdevils are on a four-game losing streak as they enter the Falcon Dome on Thursday. The Dustdevils are in the middle of a three-game week as they made up a game against No. 3 Lubbock Christian on Tuesday and travel to Angelo State on Saturday.
- The last time these two teams met the Dustdevils won by one point in Laredo. Greg Bowie II had 17 points with a pair of rebounds and assists. Jermaine Drewey and La-Quiem Walker also reached double digit points with 15 and 10 respectfully.
- They only possess a 0.8 assist/turnover ratio and a 1.7 turnover margin. They also have a 1.7 rebounding margin.
- The Dustdevils struggle from the charity stripe as they are shooting 67.9 percent on the season.
