The Falcons 
  • DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history.  Through 20 games the senior has 140 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times. 
  • Jones currently is second in Division II in assists with 140, seven behind Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern.  Jones is also second in the per game category at 7.4, 0.6 away from the lead held by Smith. 
  • The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. 12 of the 20 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point. 
  • On Saturday, the Falcons took No. 1 Lubbock Christian to the wire in the Falcon Dome. The Falcons were led by Horn who scored 22 points and added seven boards. Miles Daniels finished with 21 points and collected seven rebounds. Kendal Frey had 10 points along with four rebounds and three assists.
  • The Falcons boast the fourth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +3.30.
  • Horn is fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 16.0 per game. He is also sixth in field goal percentage shooting 47.4 from the field. He is sixth in the conference from three with a 39.6 percentage. 
  • Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting 86.8 percent, fifth in the LSC.  He also currently is fifth in the league with 27 steals. 
  • Miles Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC.  He is fifth in percentage, 40.5, and third in made threes per game, 3.1. 
  • The Falcons are 9-8 against the Rams all-time, but haven't been victorious against them since Feb. 15, 2018.   
The Rams
  • The Rams head into their game with the Falcons receiving votes in the latest NABC Coaches poll. The Rams have won three of their last four games including defeating No. 8 West Texas A&M 82-79 in Canyon and they almost gave No. 1 Lubbock Christian their first loss of the season before the Chaps were able to get the victory in double-overtime.
  • The Rams have played in many close games this year especially as of late. Five of their last seven games have been decided by 10 points or less.
  • Earlier in the season the Falcons and the Rams met at the Falcon Dome where the Rams won by two points on a basket in the closing seconds.   
  • The Rams have a 2.4 rebounding margin on the year and they shoot 33.0 percent from beyond the arc.   
  • They are 71.0 percent from the charity stripe this season and they allow their opponents more assists then they have. They have an 11.7 assists per game mark where their opponents have a 12.1.
