In their final meet before the Lone Star Conference Championships,
Alauna Stackhouse and
Noah Perez led the way for UT Permian Basin Cross Country. Stackhouse finished 14th in a field of all LSC schools while Perez was 11th at the Angelo State Blue & Gold Classic.
Stackhouse led the Falcons on the women's side with a time of 26:23.2. Teammate
Miranda Hernandez placed 21st with a time of 27:03.2. Not far behind her was
Yanitza Olivares who finished in 28:18.5.
Kayla Cepeda followed her with a time of 28:29.0 as did
Julie Tejada with her time of 30:33.8.
Perez had a terrific showing clocking in at 27:51.7. Just behind him in 15th place was
Christian Chavez with a 28:20.1. Six seconds behind him in 17th place was teammate David Cruz. Rounding out the Falcons were
Jared Myers in 31:25.4 and Alejandro Tecero in 38:56.2.
