Felipe Almeida had a chance in the last minute of the opening half but his shot was saved. In the second half Hovind had to make back-to-back saves to keep it scoreless 60 minutes into the match. The only Falcon shot on goal in the second half came in 72nd minute but Gabriel Navarez's shot was saved in the bottom center of the net. The last real chance of the night came in the 75th minute for the Eagles but Hovind pushed it aside to preserve an eventually 0-0 tie.
