Jenna McEnaney finished with her second straight seven-save outing in Saturday's 1-0 loss to St. Mary's. It matched a season-high for the junior goalkeeper, playing all 90 minutes in goal.
The Rattlers broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 18th minute for a 1-0 lead that went to the break. McEnaney faced 10 shots in the first half, saving four of five on goal.
McEnaney continued her impressive day in goal, facing five more shots and saving all three on goal in a shutout second half. Offensively, UTPB improved from the first half with five shots and two on goal in the second but were unable to put one past the Rattlers in the 1-0 final.
The Falcons totaled eight shots with three on goal for the game.
Cassandra Ramirez matched a game-high four shots and put a team-best two on goal.
Tyeliyah Jones added two shots.
Laura Perez and Natalia Jones each added a shot. Perez put hers on goal.
The Falcons (5-6-2 | 3-5-1 LSC) next host Texas A&M International on Wednesday, October 19.
