Coming off of their best season as a member of the Lone Star Conference, UT Permian Basin has reloaded their roster for the 2022 season. The Falcons are adding players all over the court in the form of two freshmen and a transfer. Last season the Falcons stunned No. 1 seed Angelo State in a five-set thriller to reach the conference semifinals for the first time.
Jenna Gray – 5-6 - Setter - Pearland, Texas - Pearland High School
Gray comes to the Permian Basin from Pearland, Texas where she played for Pearland High School and the Houston Stellar Volleyball Club. During her time at Pearland she was District Co-Setter of the Year, Varsity MVP and made the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Team.
Grace Feddern – 5-10 - OH/RS - Desoto, Texas - Homeschooled
Feddern is from Desoto, Texas where she played for DasCHE High School in Cedar Hill, Texas and the NRG Volleyball Club. She has won multiple tournament awards from 2018-2021 during her career and was on the 2020 National Christian Home School Volleyball Championships All-Tournament team.
Emily Nanez – 5-5 - DS/L - San Antonio, Texas - Midland College
Nanez is from San Antonio, Texas where her most recent stop was at Midland College during the 2021 season. Prior to Midland College she also played for Panola and Temple Colleges. He accolades include Mid-Plains Invitational All-Tournament Team, TAVC 5A All-State Honoree, and Defensive District 26-5A Player of the Year.
