The Falcons 

• DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history.  Through 19 games the senior has 140 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times. 
• Jones currently leads Division II in assists with 140, eight clear of Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern.  Jones is third in the per game category at 7.4, 0.4 away from the lead held by Smith. 
• The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. 11 of the 19 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point. 
• On Thursday, the Falcons were led by Miles Daniels and Jordan Horn, who both dropped 18 points in the win against Eastern New Mexico. Jones had 14 points while Lemmie Howard had 10.  Horn hit a clutch three-pointer with 19 seconds left to put the Falcons in the lead 71-69 before Howard iced the game with a pair of free throws.
• The Falcons boast the fourth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +3.84.
• Horn is tied for sixth in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.7 per game. He is also eighth in field goal percentage shooting .466 from the field. He is sixth in the conference from three with a .392 percentage. 
• Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting .868 percent, fifth in the LSC.  He also currently is fifth in the league with 27 steals. 
• Miles Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC.  He is fifth in percentage, .403, and third in made threes per game, 3.1. 
• The Falcons look for their first win over the Chaps since February 27th, 2020. The Falcons have won three of their last four games in the series against the Chaps in the Falcon Dome.  

The Chaps 

• The Chaps enter their game against the Falcons undefeated and No. 1 in the nation. The Chaps had their biggest scare of the season Thursday night against Angelo State. The Rams took the Chaps to double overtime, but the Chaps escaped with an 85-79 win. 
• The Chaps are winning by 18.6 points per game this season but have not done so since January 8th against Oklahoma Christian.  
• The Chaps only steal the ball 4.6 times a game where their opponents have 5.4 steals a game.  
• The Chaps are shooting 51.8 percent from the field and on average they allow 60.2 points per game. Their defense is the best in the conference in opponent's scoring.
