The Falcons
- The Falcons have gotten used to close games already in 2021-22. 11 of their 17 games have been decided by 10 points or less, and three have come down to a one possession difference.Â
- The Falcons lead the Lone Star Conference in forced turnovers at 22.6 per game. This is the most per game under Head Coach Rae Boothe.Â
- Alexus Wykoff has been an offensive force this year for the Falcons. The senior is fifth in the nation in shooting percentage at .638.Â
- Avalon Munoz is second in the LSC with 70 assists on the season and third in steals with 40.Â
- On Saturday, Holly Hemmeline shot 66.7 percent from three-point range and the Falcons defense continued to cause problems as they forced 16 Lady Buff turnovers and held them to 61 points.
- The Falcons split the series against the Greyhounds the last time they played during the 2019-20 season. The Falcons won their game in the Falcon Dome 71-63.
The Greyhounds
- The Greyhounds enter the Falcon Dome on a two game winning streak. Last Thursday they defeated St. Mary's 77-61 and on Saturday collected the win against St. Edward's 62-54.
- Despite their 7-6 record they are 2-5 on the road this season and 0-4 in conference play.
- The Greyhounds have a -4.0 scoring margin this season even though their record is 7-6. They also shoot only 26.5 percent from beyond the arc.
- On the defensive side of the ball they present a -1.4 turnover margin which the Falcons look to capitalize in the turnover battle.
