The Falcons
- DaJuan Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history. Through 18 games the senior has 134 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153. This season Jones has six games with double digit assists, all other players in program history have combined to do so only nine times.
- Jones currently leads Division II in assists with 134, 10 clear of Nick Smith of Nova Southeastern and Fred Mulbah of Pitt.-Johnstown. Jones is third in the per game category at 7.4, 0.4 away from the lead held by Smith.
- The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. Ten of the 18 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
- On Saturday, Jones led the offense with 12 points with Keyon Craddock adding 11 points while going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. Drew Crippen showed a spark for the Falcons scoring eight points in the three minutes.
- The Falcons boast the fourth-best turnover margin in the Lone Star Conference at +3.50. The Falcons have forced the fourth most turnovers in the conference with 269 this season while only committing 206.
- Horn is fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.6 per game. He is also eighth in field goal percentage shooting .459 from the field. He is sixth in the conference from three with a .383 percentage.
- Jones has been money from the charity stripe shooting .890 percent, fourth in the LSC. He also currently is fifth in the league with 27 steals.
- Miles Daniels has been one of the better three-point shooters in the LSC. He is fifth in percentage, .412, and third in made threes per game, 3.0.
- The Falcons look for their first win over the Greyhounds since January 5, 2019. The Falcons have won two of the last three games in the Falcon Dome and are 6-5 overall in the series.
The Greyhounds
- The Greyhounds travel to Odessa on a three game losing streak. All three of their losses were by 19 points or more including losses to UT Tyler and Texas A&M Commerce by 30 plus points.
- The Greyhounds last victories were home against Oklahoma Christian and UA - Fort Smith. Both of those games were by a single possession including one in overtime.
- They are led offensively by Jose Serrano, Kentrell Pullian, and Adam Hess. Serrano averages 12.6 points per game while Pullian averages 12.1 and Hess buckets 11.2 points.
- The Greyhounds have a -7.1 scoring margin which is second to last in the conference behind Cameron. The team also has problems turning the ball over as they have a -2.6 turnover margin.
