The Falcons

• Jordan Horn continues to fill the stat sheet and bumped his scoring average up to 18.5 points per game.  Miles Daniels and DaJuan Jones also eclipse the double digit line as they have 15.0 and 14.2 points per game respectfully.
• Jones might already be one of the best point guards in program history.  Through 11 games the senior has 96 assists and has eyes on the program single season record of 153.  He has five games with double digit assists including 12 against Western Washington and St. Edwards.
• Jones currently sits first in the country in assists per game with 8.7.
• This season the Falcons have buckled down defensively, allowing just 69.2 points per game.  That's the lowest total since the 2011-12 season when they allowed 63.4 per game.  The last time the Falcons allowed less than 70 points per game was the 2012-13 season in which they gave up 68.9 points per game.
• On December 18, the Falcons put up 126 points while six Falcons scored in double figures and three of them put up 20 or more points. Miles Daniels led the team with 27 points. Horn had 24 points and Jones knocked in 22. Daniels and Kendal Frey had double-doubles.
• The Falcons have played in plenty of close games this season. Six of the 11 games have been decided by single digits, with two games decided by a single point.
• The Falcons boast the second-best turnover margin in the LSC at +5.27.  The Falcons have forced 181 turnovers this season while only committing 123.
• This will be the 18th meeting all-time between the Falcons and the Rattlers.  The Falcons lead the series 9-8 including winning their game on December 11 in the Falcon Dome 76-68.

The Hilltoppers

• The Hilltoppers have won three of their last four games. In their last game they defeated RV Angelo State 96-80 on Friday on their home court where they have a 5-1 record.
• These two teams have played earlier this year in the Falcon Dome. The Falcons took the victory 81-74 as they held the Hilltoppers to 28 points in the first half. They held Venzant, who is second in the LSC in points per game with 20.2, to just 9 points.
• They are 1-1 against ranked teams this season. The Hilltoppers faced No. 4 Colorado Mesa on November 13 and lost 84-77. They won their game against No. 18 Angelo State 75-59 on December 11.
• The Falcons capitalized in rebounds the last time these two teams met. The Falcons won the rebound battle 38-29 where the Hilltoppers hold a 1.2 rebound margin per game.
