The Falcons

• The Falcons have gotten used to close games already in 2021-22. Nine of their 14 games have been decided by 10 points or less, and three have come down to a one possession difference. 
• Through their first 14 games the Falcons forced 334 turnovers or 23.9 per game, which is at the top of the charts in the Lone Star Conference.  This is the most per game under Head Coach Rae Boothe. 
• The Falcons are 15th in NCAA Division II in turnovers forced per game with 23.9 on the season. That number is good for 13.9 steals per game and tied for 11th in DII.
• As a team the Falcons sit in fifth in the conference with a 4.07 turnover margin.
• In their last game against Midwestern State the Falcons were led by Avalon Munoz who bucketed 14 points for the Falcons. She also led the team with five assists and three steals. Ogechi Nwodo was one point away from a double-double with a team high 10 rebounds and nine points.
• Quaadman is ninth in the Lone Star Conference in offensive rebounds with 35 on the season.
• Munoz is tied for fifth in offensive boards with 38 she is also fourth in assists with 54. She is tied for second in steals with 36. She is tied for sixth in the conference with a 1.3 assist / turnover ratio.
• Wykoff is first in the LSC in field goal percentage and third in Division II with a 66.7 percent. She is sixth in the conference with a .842 free throw percentage.
• This is the 21st meeting between the two teams with the Falcons leading the series 11-9.

The Hilltoppers

• The Hilltoppers will be playing in their fifth Lone Star Conference game on Monday against the Falcons, but at home against LSC opponents they are 1-1 on the year. The Hilltoppers are coming off a loss against Cameron, 75-63, on Saturday in Austin.
• They are 27.7 percent from beyond the arc and they have a -3.0 turnover margin.
• The Hilltoppers allow their opponents to steal the rock 11.1 times a game. The Falcons will look to take advantage of this as they are the best team in the LSC in creating turnovers.
