Aquinicia Strambler continues to power the UT Permian Basin Volleyball offense, recording 12 assists in the team's Lone Star Conference opener Saturday.  Strambler along with 28 assists by Analise Lucio powered the Falcons to a 3-0 win over Western New Mexico, in what was also the team's home opener.
 
Lucio had all but two assists during the match as she continues her historic Falcon career. Daylee Doggett led the team in service aces with three and digs with 14.  She also had the other two assists in the match. Isela Murillo also recorded double digit digs with 11. Taurie Magee led the Falcons with six blocks.  Chandra Reed added in six kills.
 
Due to technical difficulties stats were not immediately available.
